Are some of you using the Samples From Mars synth libraries and mainly the libraries with one sample per key? (Or other libraries with one sample per key, meaning a lot of samples).

And if yes, have you found a semi automated way to import the samples in a sampler?

The second update for Fender Studio Pro 8 is out, at also this time there is a Linux specific update.

It's so nice progres is being made, they I really miss a more open communication about the X11/Wayland no plugin-GUI issue @ercanbrack@mastodon.online talked about in the latest @linuxaudiodevelopment@mstdn.social

I get why it's hard to communicate all the time about all platforms, but I really think communication is key for the support of the community.

With that being said, I'd rather have an update :)

I have yet to experience rolling updates being a problem on an Arch based distro, but everyday I experience the 6.19 Kernel kicking my processors but, so the standard CachyOS 6.19 performs better than the RT 6.18. Better performance = lower latency or more plugins, your choice.

I think it’s the first OS i have had, where it just keeps getting faster - while my software keeps getting newer.

I have finally managed to collect everything I do, when I setup my CachyOS Linux laptop for music production.

In this guide I look at how (and from where) I'm installing apps and why, the PipeWire packages I install, RT Kernel, Audio Interface, Low Latency (Millisecond) and more.

And the ending just made me so happy (spoiler alert!): "And I can do all this, while taking back control of my own digital life."
